Established in 1987, Hydroilex is a Geological Consultancy specialising in groundwater resource definition, testing, assessment certification and associated environmental management.

Operations extend over a large part of NSW and ACT, with offices in Sydney, the Central West, Central Coast and Southern Highlands.

We believe that within the fields of both groundwater resource exploration and development, and environmental management, Hydroilex provides the most comprehensive range of applied hydrogeological services and associated expertise in NSW.

The company can provide a turnkey service encompassing all necessary hydrogeological, geophysical and testing services, principally from its own technical and equipment resources. The technology and expertise provided to our clients has a significant ‘track record’ of success.

Bachelor of Science (Geology) UNSW. 1972.
Current Research - UNSW PhD research - Sydney Basin (Hawkesbury Sandstone), hydrostratigraphic and structural modeling.
35 years experience in mineral, petroleum and groundwater exploration and development.
John specialises in sedimentary geology, hydrostratigraphy, subsurface geological analysis, basin studies, groundwater exploration and drilling technology.
Extensive and continuous experience in geological and groundwater exploration throughout Australia, South East Asia, Papua New Guinea, Southwest Pacific and the US.
